AWARENESS ON THE OCCASION OF OCTOBER ROSE

The month of October, through Pink Octoberis dedicated to breast cancer, and by extension to other cancers that affect women. On this occasion, the National Cancer Control Program (PNLC) and Unicongo organized an information and awareness meeting for the Union's member companies.

It took place on Monday 11 October 2021, at the headquarters of the Union in Brazzaville from 10:30 to 12:00. More than a dozen company representatives participated in this session, including HRDs, Personnel Managers, Managers of medical and social centers and Communication Managers.

The Professor Judith NSONDE MALANDA, Director of the NCCPmade two presentations on the National Program and on breast and cervical cancers respectively. This was followed by a time for questions and answers focused on the causes, risk factors, symptoms, possible therapies in Congo, risks of recurrence and heredity of the disease.

At the end of the meeting, some company representatives expressed interest in organize an awareness-raising event for their staff.
