OUR VALUES & PRINCIPLES
For nearly 65 years, Unicongo has been supporting private sector companies in Congo. In order to sustain its development, the Union has decided to rely on a set of values and principles that affirm its ethical commitment and responsibility in all its sectors of activity. To this end, Unicongo has established an ethical charter, signed by all its members and required for membership .
It includes the following points:
- Respect for the rules of free competition.
- Rejection of corruption and fraudulent practices.
- Adherence to the principles of the International Labour Conventions.
- Prohibition on the use of Unicongo membership in political debate.
- Adherence to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of December 1948.
- Taking into account the natural environment and the specific culture of the Republic of Congo.
- Protection and defense of the interests of our members in the respect of the laws in force in the Republic of Congo.
