2018 JAPAN-AFRICA PUBLIC-PRIVATE ECONOMIC FORUM IN JOHANNESBURG

Mr. Alphonse MISSENGUI, Vice President of Unicongo received Mr. Yukuo MURATA, Counselor and Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Japan for the two Congo.

Friday, February 16, 2018 the Vice President of Unicongo received the Counselor and Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Japan from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm, at the headquarters of the Union in Brazzaville. The Japanese diplomat who resides in Kinshasa stayed in Brazzaville as part of the preparations for the upcoming Japanese-African Public-Private Economic Forum to be organized by Japan from May 3 to 4, 2018 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

This Forum, which will be placed under the patronage of the Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, aims to create a platform for cooperation involving not only the Governments of African countries and Japan, but also their private sectors, which is why Unicongo member companies are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to meet their Japanese counterparts.

The Japanese diplomat who visited for the first time Unicongo expressed his keen interest to see the development of business relations between the Congolese private sector and that of Japan, the Vice of Unicongo reassured him of the wide dissemination to the members of the Union of the invitation of Japan to the Economic Forum public-private Japan-Africa in Johannesburg.
