Mentoring project launched

Support for 16 young people

On February 2, Unicongo launched a mentoring program to train and support sixteen promising students. This first cohort benefits from training workshops, experience-sharing with professionals and business leaders, and mentoring.

The launch marked the start of training sessions aimed at strengthening young people's personal and professional skills. The first session, led by the President of Unicongo, focused on "communication and behavior in the workplace". It enabled students to explore different forms, methods and channels of professional communication, as well as the qualities sought by company managers.

The young people then benefited from practical sessions on CV writing, cover letters, job hunting and preparing for professional interviews with Davy Pacôme Nzekwa and Jean-François Laurès. These sessions enabled them to improve their CVs and cover letters, and to prepare for interviews so as to stand out in the eyes of recruiters.

The mentees also took part in an integration session with Florence Roch Dehorter, professional coach, to foster the development of their respective qualities through exchanges and practical workshops.

Unicongo thanks the speakers for their availability and commitment to this future generation of executives, and hopes to extend this program to other students.
